To enhance physical security and delay unauthorised access, the container was enclosed within a heavy-duty steel mesh cage complete with an integrated roof structure. The cage was manufactured using 50 x 50mm welded mesh panels formed from 5mm diameter steel wire, providing a robust barrier against intrusion, cutting attempts, and opportunistic theft.

The assessment focused on the cage’s resistance to forced entry, environmental durability, and suitability for deployment in remote or high-risk areas. Testing considered manual attack methods, portable cutting tools, and attempts to gain access through climbing or roof penetration.
